so why this blog?
Simple. I’ve been bitten by the track bug HARD and I’m out of ears to talk to about it. I love driving. I love learning. I love progressing, and working at getting better on and off the track. I’m enthralled by talking about it, reading about it, and even listening to other people talk about it gets me elevated. I’m excited by chats of slip angles, traction circles, and the balancing of a car at the limits.
I am far from being a good driver, and only at the start of my journey. There are no delusions of grandeur here. Only a student trying to bring out the best of myself. So anything I have to say about racing is merely me sharing my personal revelations. Sharing things that have helped me, and hoping it can help others just starting out in this sport. So do not take what I have to say seriously. I’m barely an amateur at this, and just trying to suck a little less than the next guy.

Some of my goals for this page:
Promote motorsports and share the joy of the sport. I’m still surprised that most people do not know how accessible it is. I work in automotive, and most people I talk to have no idea how easy it is to do a track day/HPDE. But I guess I’m not shocked, because it was the same reason why it took so long for me to make the leap myself. I just didn’t know. So I hope to give people who’s interested on getting on track a little insight on how to get started.
I want to talk to as many people as possible about driving and feature their cars on the site. I want to hear what they’re working on, light bulb moments, tips for newbies, etc. I hope to feature HPDE guys, time attackers, club racers, rally maniacs, drifters, and maybe if I get lucky, even some pros.
Share and document my personal driving/racing endeavors, improve my writing, and converge my photography with my racing hobby.
So this will be an outlet for me to just talk about all things high performance driving, track cars, time attack, racing, etc.
So strap on those helmets and HANS, slip on those racing shoes, and let’s go!
